We at Social Tap helped bring this brand to life from its very beginnings. We built the first ecommerce website as well as managed its updates, created and managed the digital campaign, engaged across social media channels, designed the gorgeous packaging, gift tags, design and more.

Butler Trading Co products are focussed on celebrating the finer things at home – especially good food. As the products are targeted to ‘foodies’, all marketing graphics need to be enticing and appealing to customers.
We have worked with Butler Trading Co to complete graphic design for all digital campaign materials, including the brand’s consumer launch, and all seasonal campaigns.
Part of the digital strategy included a Christmas ebook to increase email subscriptions via social media and the website – seen on the left.

The website we designed and built for the client has everything a successful ecommerce site requires. It is a mobile responsive site, designed to maximise conversions, with a smooth checkout experience to minimise abandoned carts.
Social Media Management
As Butler Trading Co was a new consumer brand when we started working with them, Social Tap helped to set its foundation – creating the Facebook page and managing it from day one.
Our work on the Facebook page includes content creation, community management, reputation management and strategy. The page is part of the broader digital advertising plan, as well as the key driver in community building and management.
Facebook ads are an important element of Butler’s digital strategy, with ads set up to specifically target ‘the right’ audience for Butler Trading Co.
It is this digital community we deliver campaign-based sales messaging to, and to identify Butler’s niche for larger advertisers campaigns. We utilise Facebook’s powerful demographic, location, interest and behavioural targeting tools, as well as specialist custom and lookalike audiences to target people who are most likely engage with the page and convert to customers.
Over our most recent growth campaign, the Butler Trading Co Facebook page saw a 24% increase in engaged users within 12 months.
Google Ads Campaigns
Over the past year we have delivered an enviable click through rate of 12.99% Butler Trading Co compared the industry rate of 2%.
Our Google ads delivered a CPC 50% less than the average bid, with a conversion rate of 8.19%. A higher quality score results in lower cost per click, allowing for the ad spend budget to reach more people and achieve an increased number of conversions.
Social Tap has also managed the email marketing for Butler Trading Co since its launch, including highly targeted seasonal sales campaigns to existing customers. For example, in 2018, to celebrate the start of Spring, we ran a promotion via a retargeted email campaign to promote their range of The Laundress products. The campaign proved to be a huge success, lifting sales by over 20%.
