Brand Identity and Packaging

Noosa Natural Chocolate are known for creating premium, quality products made with fresh, natural ingredients right here on the Sunshine Coast. Their chocolate allows people a special treat that they can enjoy daily. Noosa Natural Chocolate isn’t designed to be gobbled up in one sitting, rather savoured at the end of the day when you have time to really enjoy the taste of fresh, natural ingredients coated in premium milk, dark or white chocolate.

Made to Savour

Noosa Natural Chocolate was originally founded in Noosa in 2008 by a family of chocolate lovers. Since then, Noosa Natural Chocolate has stayed family owned, with new owners Lisa and Christo taking the reigns with a new vision. Together, they had the vision to evolve the look of this brand into something special and unique. It was then, that they came to us to help them develop a brand identity that not only matches the ever-evolving face of this Sunshine Coast born-and-bred brand, but also perfectly captures just how unique their products are.

The brief was to create a new logo that was modern, fun and work well on packaging by capturing the eye of shoppers in a sea of other products in confectionery aisles. Our team understood the theme that this premium, high quality chocolate was something special. It was not designed to absentmindedly be devoured in one sitting (though it’s so delicious, it’s easy to do so!) but rather it’s a special daily treat, made to be enjoyed thoughtfully. It’s here where the Noosa Natural Chocolate tagline was born – Made to Savour.

Packaging Design

Once the Noosa Natural Chocolate brand identity was cemented, we launched ourselves into creating packaging that would stand out from the shelves – shouting that there were fun, tasty and delicious treats just waiting to be savoured inside. Keeping things local, we teamed up with Noosa-based artist Cass Deller to create beautiful illustrations of fruit to showcase each chocolate flavour. Meanwhile, the pastel packaging colours are made to quietly draw attention in confectionery aisles. To assist in showcasing the delicious products that are inside, we teamed up with Sunshine Coast product photographer Karina Sharpe from the Image Up Club to photography the product photos for the front of the packs.
